Yoga With Adriene Home Day 6

yoga with adriene home day 6

Welcome to day 6 of the 30 day yoga challenge! Today we will be exploring a few different seated poses. Seated poses are great for stretching and strengthening the hips, glutes, and thighs. They are also a great way to focus on your breath and practice meditation.

Begin by sitting on your mat with your legs stretched out in front of you. Flex your feet and point your toes towards your shins. Place your hands on your thighs and press down to lengthen your spine. Inhale and lift your chest up, then exhale and fold forward. Try to keep your spine long as you fold. If you can’t reach the floor, place your hands on a block or a folded blanket.

Stay here for a few breaths, then inhale and lift back up to seated.

Next, we will do a seated twist. Sit up tall and twist to the right, placing your left hand on the outside of your right thigh. Keep your spine long and your chest open as you twist. Hold for a few breaths, then switch sides.

Finally, we will do a seated forward fold. Sit up tall and fold forward, keeping your spine long. If you can’t reach the floor, place your hands on a block or a folded blanket. Hold for a few breaths, then slowly lift back up to seated.

That’s it for today! Be sure to check out the video below for a guided practice.

The main reason people feel sore after a yin yoga class is because they are not used to holding poses for an extended period of time. In a yin yoga class, you will usually hold a pose for 3-5 minutes, which can be a new experience for some people.

Don’t worry though, the soreness will go away with time! As you continue to practice yin yoga, you will start to feel more and more comfortable in the poses and the soreness will dissipate.

If you are really struggling with the soreness, try to focus on your breath and relax into the pose. This will help to ease the discomfort.

Remember, yin yoga is a practice, and it takes time to perfect. Be patient and keep practicing, and you will start to see and feel the benefits of yin yoga!

Crz Yoga Review

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and when I first started, I was a bit intimidated by the idea of a “yoga class.” I had no idea what to expect, and I was worried that I would be the only beginner in the room.

Luckily, that’s not the case with Crz Yoga. The studio is welcoming and beginner-friendly, and the instructors are knowledgeable and experienced. They provide modifications for each pose, so you can always find a version that works for you.

The classes are challenging, but they’re also fun. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the instructors are great about providing encouragement and support.

If you’re looking for a great yoga studio, Crz Yoga is definitely worth checking out.
