The quick answer to this question is yes, power yoga can help you build muscle. However, it’s not quite as simple as that.
To start with, you need to understand that there is no one “right” way to do power yoga. Some people think of it as a more vigorous form of yoga, while others see it as a combination of yoga and Pilates. So, the type of power yoga you do will affect how much muscle you build.
Also, the intensity of your practice and your diet will both play a role in how much muscle you can build. If you’re looking to build muscle, you need to eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of protein.

How Big Of A Yoga Ball Do I Need
?
When it comes to yoga balls, bigger is not always better. In fact, a ball that is too big can actually be more challenging and less effective than a ball that is the right size. So, how do you determine the right size yoga ball for you?
The best way to figure out the right size yoga ball is to measure your height. To do this, stand against a wall with your feet flat on the ground and shoulder-width apart. Measure the distance from the floor to the top of your head. This is your height.
Once you have your height measurement, use the following chart to determine the right size yoga ball for you.
Height Ball Size 4’10” or shorter 55 cm or 22″ 5’0″ – 5’4″ 60 cm or 24″ 5’5″ – 5’8″ 65 cm or 26″ 5’9″ – 6’0″ 70 cm or 28″ 6’1″ – 6’4″ 75 cm or 30″ 6’5″ or taller 80 cm or 32″
As you can see, the right size yoga ball for you depends on your height. If you are 4’10” or shorter, then you will need a 55 cm or 22″ ball. If you are 6’1″ or taller, then you will need an 80 cm or 32″ ball.
If you are unsure of which size ball to get, it is always best to go with the smaller ball. A smaller ball is more challenging and will provide a better workout. A bigger ball is less challenging and may not be as effective.
