The Origin Of Yoga
Yoga is one of the most sought after health and fitness programs, not only in the United States but in many other countries around the world.
So where does yoga come from?
Yoga is a practice that has been practiced for thousands of years, and it is still practiced today. It was developed by Ashoka the Great, who believed that it had great healing powers, and that a person’s body would be better off in a state of health.
Yoga works by stretching and toning muscles, and the practice of yoga are sometimes referred to as postures. One of the first movements in yoga that people know is the sun salutation, which is simply an upright sitting position with the legs together at the ankle and then bent, with the hands resting on the knees. This is done three times each day. Other popular yoga poses are backbends, twists, and abdominal exercises. It can also include meditation, physical activities, and breathing exercises.

Asana is also known as mudra. Mudra is a Sanskrit word that means “breath”. In this pose the right foot is brought up, allowing the back foot to rest upon the opposite thigh. Then the left arm is brought to the elbow and then brought up again to the original position before returning to the original position.
Another popular asana is the half-lotus pose, which involves the use of both the hands and the legs in order to stretch out the entire body. After the bending of the body, both the upper and lower limbs are raised to the level of the chest and then returned to the starting position.
Another popular yoga pose is the cobra pose, which also includes asana. Both the upper and lower limbs are bent forward and the feet are placed upon the opposite thighs, while the arms are spread out in front of the body. It is important to keep the head above the feet at all times in order to get the full benefit of the yoga poses.
