What is Yoga?

It is a practice of cultivating awareness, relaxation, and potential healing, that has been used for centuries to improve wellbeing and attitude. Yoga has typically been associated with postures (asanas) and some breathing exercises (pranayama), which together form a complete practice of stretching, healing, and physical and mental purification. However, yoga goes beyond just the physical aspect and includes a holistic approach to health.

Yoga can improve a person’s physical strength and flexibility, along with aiding in the maintenance and improvement of overall physical health.
