Why I Stopped Teaching Yoga
I used to teach yoga. I was good at it, and people enjoyed my classes. But then I stopped.
I stopped teaching yoga because I realized that it was doing more harm than good.
You see, yoga is a great way to get in touch with your body and your mind. It can help you relax, focus, and de-stress. But it can also be dangerous.
Yoga is a lot more physical than people realize. It can put a lot of stress on your body, and if you’re not careful, you can end up hurting yourself.
I’ve seen too many people injure themselves while doing yoga. They’ll twist their back, or strain their neck, and then they’re out of commission for weeks or even months.
And that’s not to mention the mental stress that can come with yoga. People can get really competitive in yoga classes, and start to obsess over their poses and their performance.
That’s not healthy.
So I decided to stop teaching yoga. It’s not worth the risk. There are plenty of other ways to get in touch with your body and your mind – and they’re a lot safer.
