Beginner Yoga Classes

At Tru Yoga, we understand that starting yoga can be intimidating. That’s why we offer beginner classes that are designed to make the transition into yoga as easy as possible. Our beginner classes provide the foundation needed to practice yoga and teach the basics of all postures and breathing techniques. Here’s what you can expect:



  • Focus on Proper Alignment and Breath: Proper alignment is key to avoiding injury and getting the most out of each posture. Our classes focus on how to use breath to deepen and enhance poses.
  • Foster a Safe Environment: Despite its reputation, yoga is not a competition! Our instructor will provide modifications for each posture so that you can go at your own pace.
  • Tools for Self-Awareness: Our classes are designed to help foster self-awareness and encourage mindful movements. With each class, you will learn how to better connect to your body and mind.

Intermediate & Advanced Classes

Tru Yoga also offers intermediate and advanced classes for individuals wanting to take their practice to the next level. Focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility, these classes are designed to challenge you. You can expect the following from our intermediate and advanced classes:

  • A Focus on Physical Balance: Understanding how to use body weight to your advantage and efficiently balance is a key part of these classes. You will learn how to maintain proper posture while challenging yourself physically.
  • Mindful & Creative Sequencing: Each class will feature creative flows and sequences to keep your mind engaged. Through this, you will gain an understanding of how postures fit together.
  • Connecting to Your Breath:Putting an emphasis on proper breathing techniques, our instructor will help you learn how to connect your breath to your physical practice. You will learn how to use your breath to go deeper into postures and promote relaxation.
