Tree Pose Yoga
Tree pose is a yoga posture that helps to improve balance and stability. It is also great for improving focus and concentration. The posture is named for the resemblance of a tree with its roots firmly planted in the ground and its branches reaching high in to the sky.
To perform tree pose, you will need to stand with your feet hip-width apart. Shift your weight to your left foot and lift your right foot off the ground. Place the sole of your right foot against the inside of your left thigh. If you can, grab your left ankle with your left hand. If you cannot reach your ankle, you can hold on to your left calf or thigh. Hold the posture for five breaths and then switch sides.

Yoga Compass Pose
is a deep backbend that opens the chest and shoulders while strengthening the spine. This pose is also known as Upward Plank Pose and is a variation of Plank Pose.
To enter Yoga Compass Pose, start in Plank Pose. Step the right foot forward between the hands, and lower the left knee to the floor. Keep the hips stacked over the ankles, and press into the palms to lift the torso and head up.
Stretch the left arm forward and reach the right arm back, opening the chest. Look up to the top hand.
Stay in this pose for 5-10 breaths, then release back to Plank Pose and switch sides.
Sphinx Pose Yoga
is a challenging pose that requires balance and strength. The pose is named for the sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a human and the body of a lion. The sphinx is said to have guarded the entrance to the Egyptian city of Thebes.
To do Sphinx Pose Yoga, start by lying on your stomach with your forehead resting on the floor. Place your palms flat on the floor next to your ears. Extend your legs behind you, and press your heels into the floor. Engage your abdominal muscles to lift your torso and head off the floor. Keep your gaze forward, and hold the pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Sphinx Pose Yoga is a great way to improve balance and strength. The pose also stretches the chest and shoulders.
Yoga Poses With Name
Your body is a temple, and like all temples, it needs constant upkeep and care. Just as you would regularly clean and polish the surfaces of your temple, you must also care for your body with regular exercise. Yoga is one of the best exercises you can do to keep your body healthy and toned.
