One of the best poses for back pain is Child’s Pose. To do this pose, kneel on the floor and sit your bottom back on your heels. Then, reach your arms out in front of you, and press your forehead to the floor. This pose is great for stretching the lower back and hips.

Another great pose for back pain is Camel Pose. To do this pose, kneel on the floor and place your hands on your lower back. Then, arch your back and push your hips forward. This pose is great for stretching the back and neck.

Hold for five breaths, then switch sides.

Runner’s Lunge: This pose is helpful for relieving tension in the hips and lower back. Start in Downward Dog. Step your right foot forward between your hands, and lower your left knee to the ground. Keep your right knee pointed toward the ceiling, and your spine straight. Reach your left arm overhead, and hold for five breaths. Switch sides.

Bridge Pose: This pose can help to relieve tension in the lower back and alleviate menstrual cramps. Lie on your back with your feet flat on the ground, hip-width apart. Draw your navel toward your spine, and press your feet and hands into the ground. Lift your hips and chest off the ground, and hold for five breaths.

Mountain Pose: This pose can help to center the mind and body. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, and press your palms together at your chest. Tuck your tailbone under, and straighten your spine. Hold for five breaths.
