Core Exercises On Yoga Ball
There are many reasons to add core exercises on yoga ball to your routine. First, the unstable surface of the ball makes your muscles work harder to maintain balance, which leads to a stronger core. Second, the ball provides a greater range of motion than traditional exercises like crunches, which can help you achieve better results.
Here are a few of my favorite core exercises on yoga ball:
1. The Basic Crunch
This is the classic crunch exercise, but it’s more effective when done on the ball. Start by lying on your back on the ball, with your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands on your chest or behind your head. Curl your torso up towards your knees, and hold for a count of two. Lower yourself back down and repeat.
2. The Pilates Scissor
This is a great exercise for the obliques. Start by lying on your back on the ball, with your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands on your chest or behind your head. Bring your knees in towards your chest, then extend them out to the side. Hold for a count of two, then bring them back in.
3. The Russian Twist
This is a great exercise for the abs and obliques. Start by sitting on the ball, with your feet flat on the floor. Lean back a few inches, and place your hands on the floor behind you. Twist your torso to the right, then to the left.
4. The Hamstring Curl
This is a great exercise for the hamstrings and glutes. Start by lying on your back on the ball, with your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands on your chest or behind your head. Bring your feet towards your glutes, then extend them back out.
5. The Bridge
This is a great exercise for the glutes and hamstrings. Start by lying on your back on the ball, with your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands on your chest or behind your head. Drive your heels into the ball, and lift your torso and hips into the air. Hold for a count of two, then lower yourself back down.

Yoga Wheel Exercises

The wheel can be used to help you deepen stretches and increase flexibility. It can also be used to improve your balance and alignment. Additionally, the wheel can help to open up the chest and shoulders, and massage the spinal cord.
There are a variety of exercises that you can do with the yoga wheel. Here are a few of our favourites:
