Place a strap or a towel around the ball of your foot and extend your leg straight up in the air. Hold for 10-15 seconds. You can also do this stretch with your other leg. Flex your foot and point your toes towards your shins. Reach for your toes with your hands and hold for 10-15 seconds. Hamstring stretches are a great way to improve flexibility and prevent problems caused by tight hamstrings. They can be done seated, standing, or lying down, and can be done with a strap or a towel.
