Down Under Yoga South End is the newest yoga studio in Boston that opened its doors to the public in late 2019. It is owned and operated by two sisters, Melissa and Janine, who are both passionate about yoga and believe it has the power to transform lives in incredible ways. The two of them decided to bring this life-changing practice to their local community, resulting in Down Under Yoga South End.
The mission of Down Under Yoga South End is to create a safe space for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, practice yoga, and experience growth and healing on a deeper level than ever before. They believe that yoga can enhance one’s physical, mental and spiritual health, so they offer classes with a variety of styles”from Hatha Vinyasa Flow to Yin & Restorative”to help students access the physical and emotional benefits of yoga.
Down Under Yoga South End is also very involved in their local community. In addition to hosting standard classes throughout the week, they often host special events such as workshops with guest speakers from different professions or backgrounds. They also partner with many charitable organizations within their community as part of their commitment to making a positive difference for those around them. Finally, they have recently begun offering special programs for children and families in order to share the joys of yoga with younger generations.
