How To Do A Handstand Yoga Beginner
A handstand is an advanced yoga pose that requires strength, balance and concentration. Before attempting a handstand, you should be comfortable with the Crow pose and the Downward-Facing Dog pose.
To do a handstand, start in a Downward-Facing Dog pose. Place your palms on the floor shoulder-width apart and tuck your toes under. Straighten your legs and lift your hips up and off the floor.
Walk your feet in toward your hands and slowly lift your heels off the floor. Straighten your legs and hold the pose for a few seconds.
To come out of the handstand, slowly lower your heels to the floor and walk your feet back to Downward-Facing Dog.
