What to Bring to Class
Ctown Yoga offers a wide range of yoga classes for all levels and abilities. Before attending one of our classes, there are certain items you should bring to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Here is a guide with all the basics:
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that allow your body to move freely. Clothes made from natural fabrics such as cotton or bamboo are ideal. Avoid wearing fashionable or tight-fitting clothing, as this can restrict your movement and affect your practice. Be sure to dress appropriately for the style of class (for example, avoid baggy clothes for Hot Yoga) and wear layers so you can adjust your temperature throughout the session.
Yoga Mat: If you don’t own one yet, don’t worry – we offer rental mats at Ctown Yoga. However, if you do have a personal mat then please be sure to bring it in order to maintain hygienic standards. Make sure it is clean before bringing it into the practice space as well! Bring your own hand towel too if needed.
Water & Snacks: It is important that you stay hydrated during class, so bring in a water bottle with enough liquid for an entire class. Dairy products (milk or yogurt) and protein-rich snacks such as eggs are also recommended before intesive practices like Power Yoga or Vinyasa Flow in order to keep your body fueled throughout the session and avoid fatigue or dizziness occurring halfway through class due to energetic expenditure!
