Deer Yoga Pose
is a beginner level yoga pose that is named for the deer because of the way the pose resembles a deer with its head and antlers up in the air. The deer pose is a great way to start your day by getting your body moving and your blood flowing. The pose is also great for stretching your back, neck, and hips.
To do the deer yoga pose, start by standing with your feet hip-width apart. Bend your knees and squat down, then reach your arms out in front of you and place your palms on the ground. Lift your knees off the ground and bring your feet in between your hands. Reach your head and antlers up to the sky and hold the pose for a few breaths.

To practice Candle Pose Yoga, you will need a yoga mat and a yoga strap.
Begin by lying on your back on the yoga mat. Bring your knees into your chest and hug them close to your body. Take the strap and loop it around your ankles. Keeping your knees in close to your chest, slowly lower your legs toward the floor. If you can’t reach the floor, stop when your legs are as close to the floor as you can comfortably get them.
Hold the position for five deep breaths, then slowly lift your legs back to the starting position.
