Move on to Downward Dog. From Mountain Pose, step your feet back and press your hips up and back. Keep your arms straight and press your heels into the ground. Hold for a few breaths.
Warrior I:
Next, move into Warrior I. From Downward Dog, step your right foot forward and bend your left knee. Reach your arms up overhead. Hold for a few breaths.
Warrior II:
Then move into Warrior II. From Warrior I, turn your right foot out and extend your left arm out to the side. Reach your right arm up toward the sky. Hold for a few breaths.
Backbend:
Move on to a backbend. From Warrior II, reach your arms back and clasp your hands behind your back. Arch your back and hold for a few breaths.
Forward Bend:
Finish with a forward bend. From the backbend, bend your knees and reach for your toes. Hold for a few breaths.
Once you’ve finished the sequence, take a few minutes to rest in Corpse Pose. Lie flat on your back and let your body relax. Breathe deeply and allow your mind to quiet.
